Marc has been active in the energy sector for over three decades, working & living in India, Malaysia, Japan, Nigeria, Russia, The Netherlands, Tanzania, Indonesia, and the UK
Much of this time was spent developing new energy projects, many of them based on natural gas as the clean alternative for coal or oil. This involved working across the entire value, from exploration & production to processing, R&D, refining, LNG, Gas-to-Liquids, transportation & shipping, power generation, and marketing
One constant in all these developments is that host governments , local communities, and NGOs are key stakeholders whose support and active participation is a critical success factor. In developing nations, multilateral lenders and development agencies often also play a crucial, beneficial role.
